Commodore Tyson joined the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary in December 1999. Among being the Immediate Past District Commodore, Commodore Tyson is also the Branch Chief of Flotilla Leadership, and Flotilla Staff Officer Information Services.
Commodore Tyson is a certified Air Crewmember, Boat Coxswain, Instructor, Vessel Examiner, Watch Stander, and many others.
